My client (Company A) needs to have a batch of gift cards produced for one of their clients (Company B) at no up-front cost (each one would be worth $195). Company B will then sell those gift cards to their customers. If the customer redeems that gift card, Company A fulfills the order and then provides a report to Company B showing how much was redeemed. Company B then pays Company A for that redeemed gift card.
Is there a way for Company A to auto-produce (for instance) 500 gift card codes for $195 each that can then be distributed to Company B? Obviously they would need to be able to produce more in the future as the initial batch gets used up.
Also, can Zen Cart reporting provide Company A with info for only Company B-related sales?
I don't see any way for the Zen Cart coupon system to cover this need, because the customer is purchasing a $195 gift card from Company B, and thus MUST receive $195 of credit to spend at their discretion.
Any ideas?
