Product info 3 for 5 discount

I'm trying to make a 3 for 5 discount and it's seriously not working for me, since the decimal place would be way out of wack.

I tried putting the discount type as amount off and it's showing up incorrectly

Item = 2.00 each

Qty = 3

Discount Value = 1

Calculate price = 1.00

Extended price = x 3 = $3.00


BUT if I do it decimal wise, I either come up with 5.01 or 4.98

Which means when people order 6 or 9 or 12 etc it will only make that gap larger.

Please help

There is no 3 for 5 discount built into Zen Cart.
