Error 1054 Unknown column 'products_length' in 'field list'

I have had so much problems trying to get my site running, the paypal exprss checkout is returning error message!!!

I don't know how to get it working properly my orders cannot get pass
shipping estimator. I am running on 1.3.8a Below is the error message.

That's got nothing to do with PayPal or Express Checkout.

The error message is telling you that you've got PHP code that's looking for a "products_length" field in your database, but your database doesn't have that field.

And, that tells me that you've half-installed an addon that supposedly adds dimensional support ... but since you've only half-installed it, you're getting errors.

So, either you've only half-installed it, or you've only half-removed it.

Finish installing or finish removing that, and those error messages will go away naturally.

As Dr.Byte has pointed out, this is an error with your shipping module, and not PaPal, The products_length field is added by several different shipping modules, most notibly, the canadian post module and the austpost/Ozpost modules.

It is generally easier to complete the installation to make the errors go away than it is to remove it.
To do this is generally a simple matter of going to the admin section for the relevent shipping module and clicking on 'Install'.
Do this even if you no longer with to use the module(s). After you have done this just once, you can uninstall/reinstall at leasure without the problem re-occuring.

The other option (to complete remove) before completing the installation will require that you delete files from /admin/ and restore them from the original zencart archive (unless you made a backup first, as instructed). Then you just restore from your backup.
