    Default Where is centerBox?

    Hello,

I need to create a custom template which includes turning the categories product listings and new products listing into two tone boxes. I cant seem to find which files contain the centerBoxColumn and centerBoxContentProducts divs ( not the CSS ).
    Can anyone help?

    Thanks!

This a client request-- they want the new products on the main page and the categories products to be laid out in columns that are two toned. Looking through the forums this is the closest I've found to an example http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/
They want the top half one color and the bottom half another color.
I'm guessing to achieve this I need to edit core files, I'm just not sure which ones.

Mostly, NEVER edit a core file - - ZenCart is setup to have template overrides for almost any file that requires editing

Your example is not a ZenCart - but there are several alternative ways to get close to what you linked to

You will probably need the column/grid 3rd party module to allow listing in columns available in the free software addons link above left

The "two-tone boxes" (box with headerbar) can be done just by styling the container divs and headings/item titles in your stylesheet, after organizing the element display order in admin.

The actual format of the page you reference is best described in Zen Cart terms as the category listing page with the subcat listings each containing one featured product listing. This would require custom coding involving elements from several PHP files and additional SQL queries to the database.

It actually looks like it would be a popular addon to have if someone were to code it.
