PayPal web transaction details missing product attributes?

On the PayPal website when viewing "Transaction Details" of a completed transaction, it used to list the Product and the attributes chosen in the "Shopping Cart Contents" section.

After upgrading to 1.3.9h, I noticed that with a new completed PayPal transaction that the product attributes no longer appear in the "Shopping Cart Contents" section when viewing the Transaction Details in PayPal. All it shows is the Product and model number. I checked the order in Zen admin and it shows the attributes that were selected.

Is this normal behavior with 1.3.9x and the updated PayPal payment module?

Attributes are indeed added, but PayPal only accepts the first 127 characters of the description, which includes the attributes.

I checked the paypal log files and the [L_DESC0] => entries show the selected attributes, so it appears they are indeed being passed to PayPal. I am not sure why they no longer show up in the transaction details of a completed order.

I guess it must be something quirky on the PayPal back-end of things.

How do you look into the paypal logs? I am having the same problem. The attributes aren't showing up in the paypal payment received email. Thanks.

In what order does Paypal display the first 127 characters of the description.

If it is based on an array sent by zencart, where in which file is this array.
