Add Customer in Admin

I installed the add customer in admin mod on zen cart 1.3.9f. When I click on the link "Formatting the CSV" a page not found opens. The file, add_customers_formatting_csv.html is in the admin folder where it belongs. I've changed file permissions and that didn't help. How do I get the link to open to the add_customers_formatting_csv.html page?

Here's what works for me.....move add_customers_formatting_csv.html to the root of your shop.
Open up Admin/add_customers.php and at line 156 you'll see:

<a href="add_customers_formatting_csv.html" target="_blank">

just before the word add......Add a / like this:

<a href="/add_customers_formatting_csv.html" target="_blank">

Then your link will work.

ok I did that and it still won't open. I entered the full url into a browser window and it still won't open.

I'm thinking now that this may have something to do with SEO mod. I am not the one who installed SEO. Does this page need to be added to the rewrite rules?

I've never installed the seo mod and have looked at the rules in there. Not sure what to make of them.

on top of this, when adding a test customer the welcome email is not being received when the check box is checked to send it.

Hmm.....not sure if that would stop it from showing or not. But, it is a possibility, I guess. You did move the page to the root of your shop, right? ........public-html/add_customers_formatting_csv.html

ok....I finally got it. I left it in the root, redid the permissions and now the link is working. I needed to step away for a little while.

But that still leaves the emails not being sent.

I was testing the carts other emailing functions. Even though it took an awfully long time they finally did get to my inbox. It's been over an hour and still no welcome email after adding customer in admin. I made certain the send welcome email box was checked on the last test I did.

I am using add customer in admin version 1.07 which shows it had the bug fix for email failure.

Bug fixes:
1. Applied code fix for failure to generate Welcome email.
2. Applied code fix to prevent invalid argument error after adding a new customer.

the emails just started to arrive. I've never seen emails take so long. A couple of hours on some and over 1/2 hour on my last test. They all just started coming. Can't be a zen cart or mod issue.

I'm having the same issue with the email's not arriving and using the same version. All my other email functions work properly (eg welcome email, generic email, newsletter etc etc)

Any ideas?
