Zones No Longer Working

Zen Cart 1.3.8a

I have 2 stores that suddenly are displaying:

"Not Available At This Time
Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.
Please contact us for alternate arrangements."

I have zones setup but only for US and Canada. We have customers from various US states that are displaying this message and it's happening often. I've never seen this before in years of running Zen Cart.

Any ideas what could trigger this? We haven't made any changes to any shipping settings in years.

What shipping modules do you have installed?

What is the Ship From address?

What are examples of the Ship To addresses that are having problems and the weight of the order?

Hey Linda,

I'm using Zone Rates for the shipping module. I have it setup for US in Zone 1 and CA in Zone 2.

Postal code for us is 58503 (I'm assuming that's the ship from address).

Here is an example of an address that doesn't work and the weight is 1 lb.:

You do have errors where you have the end of the rates at:
69

You have no amount ...

What happens at 69 lbs?

NOTE: this error is not giving me an error on mine for 1lb but could on amounts 69 and over ...

These settings are also incorrect:

Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight 0
Larger packages - added packaging percentage:weight 0

they should be 0:0 if you want to turn them off ...

Do you have any kind of customizations on this shipping module?

Does anything show on the Shipping Estimator as a guest?

I just tried checking out with something at 0 lbs. and my address and he gave the same error.

0 weight will fail ...

You have the setting 0 weight for Free Shipping turned on ... this means you need to install the FREE SHIPPING! freeshipper shipping module so that it will handling the shipping with 0 weight orders ...
