I'm running 1.3.9h
I have searched for this but keep getting zero results.
I'm a new user and somehow , I've must have changed a setting that has removed the Qty box and Add to Cart button and now all I get is a 'Contact us' button instead.
I did have the site headers and footers set to admin only whilst I was setting things up as this is only a dummy site and didn't want people trying to use it.
And thought that maybe that was why the add to cart functionality had vanished. But I've removed the admin only and it still has lost the Add to cart.
I did post yesterday about a problem with Captcha add on install I was trying to do. Can't see how the new pges relating to Contact us should affect the ADD TO CART.
I don't want to have to start from scratch again when I only have css to fine tune before I show this as a demo.
Where do i need to look to find the setting that controls the ADD to CART / QTY box

What are your settings for:
Admin->Configuration->My Store->Store Status
and why?.

Thanks that was the problem.
My store staus I'd set to 1.
I was trying to not let the store prices be picked up by any bots eg google
As this site is only for a college assignment on database Integration / e-commerce so I don't want it operational( hence no payment modules ) , but I do need it functional for lecturer to use and then access my admin as I need to be able to identify which pages/code /functions being used to perform certain tasks.
(Setting it up locally had too many issues when I was constantly relocating files between different systems.)
