How can I reduce Time to First Byte of the main page

I use Zen Cart v1.3.9f and I have problems with loading pages. Generally, Time to First Byte is between 3 and 5 seconds. What is Time to First Byte for yours sites made with Zen Cart?

Any suggestion to reduce the time?

Enable page parse time display
admin > config > loggong > display page parse time > true or 1

Post times and a link is preferable

Query Time indicates that the server is not tuned for processing mysql robustly

If they can not correct. look for another host
