Product quantity update

Hi, I'm wondering if there's a way to globally update product quantity or if each one has to be opened separately and updated?

What/how are you attempting to control stock?

If you have no need to control the qty that you have then set it that way in
admin > config > stock >

I really don't need to check the stock level, therefore I have set the "Check stock level" to "False" but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Whenever a product is ordered, it disables itself and doesn't show in the cart anymore.

Yes, there are other settings but I don't know which one would apply.

If the "Check stock level" is set to "False", wouldn't that override all the following settings?

They are fairly self explanatory
Check stock level
Subtract stock
Allow Checkout
Mark product out of stock

Okay, here's what I have:

Check stock level: False
Subtract stock: False
Allow Checkout: True
Mark product out of stock: *** (Whatever that means)

I still don't understand why ordered products disable themselves and display stock as -1 when the stock level is not checked.
