Featured products

How do i create a featured product?
I have set featured products to show but i cant find any info on how to create them.

When in there i click the "new product" but in no way i can add a product, the only thing i can do is put in "Available date" and "Expiry date"

Where it says "Product:" is only a white empty box... nothing to choose from it.

Yes!
And they show up as "New products", i have 7 products created.
