Hi there

Firstly, what a pretty template.

Secondly, what did I do wrong?

This doesn't look like it should (I'm a complete beginner).

I deleted the title text and everything went back to normal.
whew (wipes brow)

is there anyway to change the title without messing everything up?

I would also like to add a link to the footer... is there anyway besides the ezpages to do this?

JaylaStarr--you can not edit the index.php file or any other php file using dreamweaver. It will break the files.

What title are you trying to change?

It really is impossible for me to help you without a link to your site. It looks like you have not selected the template from the admin. You need to read through the install.txt file and follow the installation instructions.

The easiest way is via the ezpages but you could also edit the includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/ashley_pink/footer_menu_defines.php.

Hi

I looked around but didn't understand what I read

I want to install a custom template, so I uploaded the custom template folder with Filezilla to public_html/zencart/includes/templates. I read the Tutorial about blank pages, but I haven't touched anything in the files. Also, all the files uploaded fine.

What am I doing wrong? Is it anything to do with me renaming my admin folder?

Did you activate the template?

admin > tools > template selection

and reset the side boxes

admin > tools > sidebox layout > reset

We're going with Ashley Pink on yet a third site:

PROBLEM: When a dress is added to the cart, it pushes the Search field/button down into where the ezpages go, as per this screen shot:

This apparently happens only on my computer, as my sister does not see the problem.

Nor do I see the problem on our site here:

http://www.bestshortpromdresses.com/

For some reason, on our problem site the "checkout" text in the pink heading is much too close to the search field.

Thoughts?

Yes, I hadn't uploaded all the files, doh! Now I've uploaded them, but I have a blank page. I'm really very stupid when it comes to php.
