The default action is that these appear once logged into get the rest of the other stuff like shopping cart and my account to appear.
Template might have this default disabled

Add something to your cart, and you'll see them appear automatically.

Hey, when I add to cart, it doesn't state the quantity. The shopping cart link just appeared automatically without the quantity. How can i enable that?
