Default Update database from 1.3.8 to 1.3.9

So i went to update the base by doing the /zc_install/ and when i click
    "Update Database Now"
    I get this message.
'1253 COLLATION 'latin1_general_ci' is not valid for CHARACTER SET 'utf8'
    in:
[CREATE TABLE counter_history_clean as SELECT * FROM counter_history WHERE 1 GROUP BY startdate COLLATE latin1_general_ci;]'

i think it was fixed because the sniffler thing said no updates.
Also could i do a reinstall if i screwed up the html domain at the beginning?
jumps from one site to another.
could i just load the back up database to correct it after i install it

Thanks, I did find that threat late yesterday and managed to fix it myself, thankfully it was something very simple.

    Cheers
