Shopping cart not working

Hi,

If a new customer puts something in their cart on my store and then tries to check out, they get the following timeout error message:

Whoops! Sorry, but you are not allowed to perform the action requested.

You are still logged in to your account and may continue shopping. Please choose a destination from a menu.

If they then go ahead and add another item to the shopping cart, then click on checkout it works fine.

This is really baffling!

Any help is appreciated.

Recently upgraded from v1.3.8 to v1.3.9h
As far as I can remember, there are no addons
PHP 5.2.14, Zend Engine v2.2.0 @ Dreamhost

The one thing I've done recently is change the location of the zenstore site,
within the same machine (from one user to another user).
But I'm guessing this is not the source of my problem.

Here's a more succinct summary of what happens:
1) When someone logs in to an account, and attempts to go to checkout
(obviously there is something already in the cart), they get the above error message.
2) If they make any change to the shopping cart (add something, subtract something), checkout will then work.

Does this ring a bell with anyone? TIA

Broken /includes/classes/shopping_cart.php file. Most common problem is using an addon that contains an old version of the file, instead of the new version.

i fixed the problem by replacing the file /includes/classes/shopping_cart.php to the latest version. thank you so much!

My version of /includes/classes/shopping_cart.php is correct. Still looking (frustratedly) for other addons that might need updating.

Could it be that I'm using the (deprecated) cc module that is causing this error?

(This is a problem, since when a new customer fills the shopping basket, then signs on to get to the checkout, they are greeted with the rude "Whoops! Sorry, but you are not allowed to perform the action requested.")

mismatched versions of files will cause you undesired behavior

any word on this. i'm using the old cc module too, do i need to stop using it?

I get this too - I replaced the shopping cart class but still no joy... anybody got any other ideas other thancompletely re-installing the latest version of Zen Cart?

Arrrggghhh! Me too. I went through the entire upgrade process from 1.3.9g to 1.3.9h.

g was working perfectly but I am now plagued by this error.

The only add-on I have is Tabbed Products Pro and it doesn't affect /includes/classes/shopping_cart.php


Help!
