Huge number of files being generated on mysql

I have a site www.easy-wellies.co.uk that has been running fine for 2 years. Recently we have had problems with the site crashing and an error message concerning the sql database

The server company say that there are a very large number of files being generated and that we need to address this. I have pasted below one of their replies

Hi James,

It's the same issue, somehow you're server has generated another half a million files in the last week. I've increased the limits to 3,000,000 now but I think you need to find out what is going on and which process is generating the files. The site is back up. The rate at which files are being generated is increasing.

No information about the files
File name
What process is generating them - the server or ZenCart

Any other pertinent information

Hi Kobra

Can I submit the ticket in the commercial help section so that you can pick this up. It is just that the server company are being very unhelpfull and this goes well beyond my knowledge. Plus we have one of our bussiest weekend due and do not want the site to crash again

I think it fixed with no help from the server company. It appears that it has nothing to do with the sql server it is the cache folder on the server that is storing erro logs I have asked the server company to delete the file as I seem unable to open it or do anything with it. I think this will sort the problem

Something changed to cause errors to be logged

Really need to track down the root cause of the errors and correct

Admin->Tools->Store Manager->Cleanup Debug Log Files ... will let you purge the logs that have been generated.
Then you need to review the new logs that get generated so you can fix whatever problems are causing them to appear.
