No, I haven't upgraded yet, I am still studying how best to do that.
Here is my tax question:
The documentation that I have read in the wiki indicates that only one Zone Definition needs to be set, and further that if I need to charge tax in only one State (Ohio), that that State can be set as the one and only Zone description and I can set multiple zones within it (for examples counties within the State of Ohio, each with different tax rates).
My store location is set in Configuration>My Store to Country: United States, Zone: Ohio.
Now, does this setting constitute having set a Zone description?
If no, how does that setting relate to or affect the setting of Zone Definitions, if at all?
I have assumed that I still need to set Zone Definition to Ohio at Locations/Taxes > Zones Definitions
Then I want to set muliple Zones (Ohio Counties) with different tax rates.
I am very confused about how to do this, and I can't seem to get it done. The documentation is lacking in this area or it is not clearly written (or both). I need help.
Apparently my client is just paying the tax, because she has not set this up (I guess she expects me to do it for her) and I am having difficulty (which is probably why she hasn't done it either).
Thanks in advance,
Bill O.
