How i can upgrading from 1.3.8a to 1.3.9h

i install all the file but when i import database that message came up on the header how i can fix this?

We've got a "special events" store which has been offline since last year, but we've got an event coming up, but the store is at 1.3.8a (hence adding to this topic).
Obviously, we need to upgrade to h before we expose it to the world but I notice the forum post says:

you can simply update the files listed in EACH OF the various "Changelog for v1.3.9b" and "c" and "d" and "e" and "f" and "g"

I just want to check - surely that doesn't mean, "for each change between a and h you need to open the changelog, dig out the list of changed files, copy them over, repeat until h" does it?
That would be utter madness!

I'm assuming I just download a complete 1.3.9h package and overwrite, then re-apply my mods?

Depends on the mods. Simply applying them without checking against the changlog may result in 1.3.9 features and security patches being undone again, or worse creating a hybrid version of your cart where some parts don't talk properly to other bits.
