Do You have it on Sandbox instead of live?

I'm having problems too and just upgraded me account to Business.
    (It was on Premier Before)
I wanted to test it out and put it on sandbox and got those emails.
So, I put it over to "Live" and it went through, but I still don't have the Item in the "Description area" on the Paypal Notification.

Not sure if you have to make curl proxy status true or not...but i think that is what you need to do. (I have never had to use these settings before as DrByte created them as a godaddy workaround)
    and it's set to true...
Actually, it should be set to FALSE now, since GoDaddy finally brought their systems up to year 1999 technology and removed the proxy. Still a long way to go, but you don't need the proxy now.
Using the proxy will cause "- (7) couldn't connect to host" messages.

Thanks, set to false, see what happens on next order.

I am havng this same issue with this store
A new install and latest zencart version. [v1.3.9h installed a few days ago]
Only problem we are having is the orders don't show under admin/customers/orders. If you go into customers on the right hand side where the buttons are for edit etc there is no order button. [I wasn't sure if that is because there are no orders showing yet]
Paypal is all working ok and in our test purchases this is the only issue.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind I solved it overnight.
I urned curl of [she was with godaddy and had it on] and that fixed the paypal IPN.
Paypal acct was set to 'ask me' instead of automatically converting currencies to US dolars. So the orders didn't go through until accepted. I changed that and it is all good to go now.

I was having the same problem. Orders were being placed but were not showing up in admin, and the customer was not getting an order number. Also, when I clicked on the customer's details in admin, it would say they had not made any purchases, even though the money had been paid to me through paypal.

Anyway, the problem was that I hadn't entered the PDT token from paypal into the settings for the paypal IPN module. As soon as I did that, problem solved.

Just thought I'd share that in case anyone else is having the same issue.

Thanks for the update on how you were able to correct the missing order issue by completing the setup of your PayPal ... this is always a great help to others to know the solution ...

TLW99, it would be better to use Express Checkout instead.
