Morning
This is just to remind you that, if you are VAT registered in the UK, you will need to make adjustments to your online shop with regard to the forthcoming VAT increase which comes into force on 4 January 2011.

If you run your ZenCart-based store in the "conventional" manner i.e. where you use the system to apply the tax, then the change is very simple: go to your admin>locations/taxes and select Tax Rates and change the 17.5% to 20%.
However, if you have not been using Zencart for these calculations and have simply inserted prices, then you will need to change all your prices to reflect the increase (unless you intend to absorb it). You can either do this manually for each product through your site admin, use a 3rd party module such as "Easy Populate" or "Quick Updates" or run commands directly on the database. If the last, then you may well need us to do the job for you, and if that is the case, please contact us. A fee will be applied for our services.
Whilst on the subject of tax, those of you liable for VAT and who allow your clients to navigate your site with their own currency selected are required by HMRC to provide invoices with sub-totals, tax, shipping & totals shown in GBP; unfortunately, by default, ZenCart prepares the invoice in the customer selected currency.
Wishing you and your business all the best in 2011
Kind regards
