Display attributes regular price and sale price

My customer would like to display both the sale price and the regular price on either the product page or in the shopping cart. Doesn't matter which one as long as you can see that you are getting a discount.

The products are set-up priced by attributes. Example: Necklace comes in silver or gold, different price for each metal set in attributes and has a pull down menu showing for ordering.

Presently, starting at price shows in product description (great!), but for silver price only (bummer).

So when a user puts an order through for the gold necklace, it looks like nothing is on sale, and the user is not receiving a discounted price, when they actually are.

If someone could point me in the right direction, I would be forever grateful. I have searched on the forums for quite awhile, but haven't been able to find anything.

Zen Cart 1.3.8a, I don't think there has been an upgrade or any addons installed.

You could probably adapt the code I posted the other day on how to show the Attribute Price in the shopping cart from:
