Moved my site to a new server and now I cant get to my admin page

I moved my site to a new server - the only way to get to my admin page is via a direct link "index.php" and all.

Once in the admin page none of the modules update?

I forgot to mention that I put my site in a different directory on the move. So it used to be root of the public dir now it is /shop.

Thank you Kobra, i tried that but to no avail. One thing I forgot to mention was that I was setting this up on server at bluehost via the ip address. So my config file had the ip address and my admin config file had the actual website name skatopia-skateshop.com. When i would change things back to skatopia-skateshop on the config file I would loose all the style on the site.

Currently I have decided to upload to the same home directory as I had on lunarpages.
