Blank Admin Screen

Zencart ver 1.3.9h - Linux

Whenever I add a file to the /admin/includes/functions/extra_functions directory, I draw a blank admin screen. I remove the file and all is well. I was attempting to load the Ceon mapping addon but after I pinpointed the problem it wasn't the addon at all. Any suggestions? Thanks.

So if not CEON, then what file are you adding that give this?

This is really an odd situation I've run in to. I've been running ZC for years and can generally tinker through any oddity that comes up but not this one. I started out thinking that the ceon file ceon_uri_mapping.php was causing the problem only to discover no matter what .php file I add to the /admin/includes/functions/extra_functions directory I draw a blank screen. Thanks for any direction.

You can not just any php file there - - it must be constructed correctly

My apologies. You are absolutely correct. Let me try again... The file that I added that caused the blank screen was the Ceon file ceon_uri_mapping.php. The file was added to the /admin/includes/functions/extra_functions directory. When the Ceon file is added to that directory, the blank admin screen shows.

For background, my active version of Zen Cart is an older version that has been upgraded. So for a test to make sure I have all my files in order, I installed a fresh original copy and obtained the same results. I am confident that the problem is on my end since others are apparently using this addon on with no trouble. Your patience and assistance is greatly appreciated.

Try to obtain another download of that module
Could be a corrupt file

I downloaded a fresh set of files to no avail. I'll see if I can get Ceon to take a look at it. Thanks.

Turned out to be a syntax error in the DIR_FS_ADMIN of the config.php file. It's so simple once you find it. Thanks.
