application error Authorize.net Credit Card verification problem

    Hello all,

So, I have my Zen Cart setup done, and I have an Authorize.net account, but when I test with a credit card number, I don't get any error. It just goes through to the next page, like before the Authorize.net was set up.

SSL is working on my domain, and the configuration file is set up to work with SSL.
    This page: /index.php?main_page=checkout_payment
    is running as https.

I followed these instructions to set up the AIM module:
    https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=373

Is there something else I need to do to process credit cards?

I am using Zen Cart version v1.3.9g

    Thanks.

How many spots are there on your checkout_payment screen for entering card details?

Also note that the card isn't charged on the checkout_payment page. That happens after clicking Submit on the checkout_confirmation page.
I'm not sure what you mean by "goes through to the next page", specifically "what" the "next page" means when you say that. ie: "which" page?

    Hey DrByte,

There are 5 fields for CC details:
    -Cardholder Name
    -Credit Card Number
    -Expiry Date - Month
    -Expiry Date - Year
    -CVV Number

I meant that it goes through to the checkout_confirmation page without any errors, even if I use an invalid credit card number.

I noticed on another ZenCart site, if I entered an invalid card number, I would get an error at the top of the page telling me that the card is not valid.

And then if I Confrim Order on the checkout_confirmation page, it goes through with the order as if everything was fine, even if the credit card info was wrong.

Okay, and so does the order then show up in your Admin->Customers->Orders screen?
If so, look in the 2nd column of that list of orders, and post back what's in that column (should be telling you which payment and shipping modules were used for that order).

The order does show up in the Admin->Customers->Orders screen.

    The Payment Shipping column shows:
    GV/DC
    storepickup

    for all orders.

So, it's being flagged as paid by GV/DC (gift voucher/discount coupon), which is why it's not going off to Authnet to collect payment.

If that is too vague of a question, I understand. I greatly appreciate the help so far, as it has helped me find the problem.

What would be the value for the "Payment Shipping" column if it had processed as a credit card payment?
