custom define page

Hi

I am trying my hand at creating a custom define page for the information sidebox.

The link shows up in the sidebox.

In admin the new define page shows up in define page editor and define page status.

The problem I am finding is in define page status with values 2 and 3 where the link should be off. The link still displays in the storefront.

Values 0 and 1 work as they should.

I compared the custom define page with a default define page in phpmyadmin to see if something needed to be corrected but nothing jumped out at me. They looked pretty much the same except where the configuration_title and configuration_key, would be different.

What could the problem be?

I figured out the problem.

I was copying the process for creating more information pages and was trying to make it work so the link would display in the information sidebox.

I changed it so the link shows up in the more information sidebox and now all the values work in the define page status in admin.

I would rather have extra pages be in the information sidebox. Is there a way to do that and have the values work properly?
