Downloadable products not showing after payment

I use paypal for my store payments and things were working well until around Christmas when notification emails and download links weren't working properly. After sorting it out with paypal things worked well for a while but since adding new products to the store recently, when customers make payments, their download links are not showing in their account and I have to manually update the product for the customer so they can download. If I don'tdo this, it stays as processing and the customer cannot download.

Is this another paypal problem or is this something that I need to fix? I'm receiving all notification emails from both Paypal and the Store, it's just that customers are not getting their download buttons to download after payment has been received.

Please note I'm not very savvy with all the terminology of how zencart works so simple layman terms much appreciated :-)

For these orders where the download links are not showing up, what is the Order Status on those orders?
And which Payment module was used? If PayPal, *which* PayPal module?
