I have just assumed responsibility for a site that is using Zen-Cart. I can handle the system right now but in the near future I need to add some new products and stop some current products. I have looked at the docs but have not found help for my needs so I am asking here for some hand holding.

Here are my needs/questions (dates are examples):

  1. While I know I can manually Out-of-Stock (OOS) an item, can I set a Cut-Off/End date for a Product like I can for the Special Discounted Price? IOW: Automatically do the Out-of-Stock on a designated date?
  2. Can I set more than one special discount for different time periods? IOW: Special Price 1 from March 1 to April 30, a lower Special Price 2 from May 1 to July 31, and the standard price (ie: No Discount) after July 31 so I do not need to go in an create the 2nd Special on the end date of the 1st?
