nothing that looks out of the ordinary - Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight 5:.5, Larger packages - added packaging percentage:weight 5:1, estimator turned on in cart and the rest look to be the default settings. We don't know when it stopped working - just got a complaint today.

You are using Zen Cart v1.5 and the USPS v1.5 from:

Could you go to the Modules ... Shipping ... and do a REMOVE, INSTALL and reconfigure?

Have you an URL to your site with a Product that breaks your shipping that we could perhaps peek at?

No, sorry for the confusion! This is a 1.3.9h cart - USPS stopped working for international shipments. I am trying to find out if this is due to a change in the USPS api. No changes to the cart and was working before. That was the reason for my questions here. If the api does change, will you post the new USPS for 1.5 and will it therefore work for 1.3.9h?

Changing the USPS to a mod instead of a part of zen cart has got my customers scared they are going to be left out in the cold. I need to know what to do when problems arise. As they just did.

Am I to assume the mod for 1.5 is substantially different from the core 1.3.9h mod? Should I switch to that?

I installed the 1.5 version and we are still getting the same message that Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.

That meant before that we needed to make a change in the USPS mod to make it work. "If using Tare Rates on some settings, for International to work you will need to edit the usps.php file and change the rounding from 3 to 2 ...". That made it work for this website before and now it's not working any longer. Does that change need to be made for the 1.5 module as well?

I have not been able to reproduce this issue with the USPS January 2, 2011 not the USPS v1.5 ...

NOTE: make sure you went to the Modules ... Shipping ...

and clicked on USPS and followed the steps for:

1 Save all settings to NotePad

2 Clicked REMOVE

3 Click INSTALL

4 re-configured the USPS shipping module ...

Also, do you have any Zones set on the USPS shipping module?

yes, USPS is only being used for international shipments. US & Canada flat rate only.

Crap -- just realized. The shipping estimator is returning rates. It's only after logging in that this happens.

The only other difference is that this website was moved to a new highly upgraded server set up by Quinton. That was early in December and we don't know when this stopped working.
