I always have blank order after payment with VISA. MC and Paypal work fine.
I just delete emty orders
Upgraded to 1.3.9h a while back, but I am just getting back to this issue as it is becoming more and more of a hassle.
At first I thought it was only after a transaction that triggered one of the fraud filters in PayPal, i.e. payment and shipping address doesn't match, now I have noticed it is after every VISA transaction. I could use DazAna's solution:
But there is obviously something not quite right here and I would rather fix the issue than just delete the blank orders...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I am getting this now after upgrading to 1.3.9h and activating PayPal WPP, I have Fraud Management Filters turned on and when an order is flagged and I go back an approve it those orders now duplicate as the freecharger orders. When we call PayPal they claim they do not support any online shopping carts.
Can I just add the old Zen-Cart cc.php module back in the pages folder and process cards like I used to? The $50 a month for PayPal WPP is no benefit if they offer no support and cause glitches.
UPDATE-
I noticed my httpS is getting certificate errors and both PayPal and Google Checkout are having problems, the PayPal DP gets a blank duplicate order and the order notes match the previous order where the PayPal WPP do not - then the Google Checkout orders only show in my Google Page, the orders do not get sent back to Zen-Cart. I checked the Google responsehandler file and I know it is there but I get a 500 error and the https page responds with errors. I am waiting to see what the host tells me about the SSL cert.
I can't help you with the Google issues.
But for PayPal:
When the duplicate-freecharger-orders appear, what's in the Comments field for those orders?
And when you did your site upgrade, did you upgrade the ipn_main_handler.php file to the new version? As well as the /includes/modules/payment/paypal/***.php files?
And, what sort of FMF-filters do you have enabled? Are they flagging "all" your orders because they're excessively strict?

I'm using zencart version 1.3.9h and I have the exact same problem of creating a record as GV/DC order with total of 0.00 after every paypaldp.
ipn_main_handler.php file and all the files on /includes/modules/payment/paypal have been upgraded.
I hadn't this problem while I was using v1.3.8
Any help or suggestions to get this corrected would be greatly appreciated.
Is your paypaldp module in UK mode?

I wish I could recreate the symptoms. Thus far I can't.
