Google checkout, amazon payment neither direct bank deposits work with v1.3.9

Does any of the addon payment modules work with the latest zencart v1.3.9 download?

I am using the free denim template

Google Checkout addon

On checkout I get the error:

Payment Method

Sorry, we are not accepting payments from your region at this time.
Please contact us for alternate arrangements.

With Amazon Checkout addon installed

I get a blank home page

For Direct Bank Deposit

On checkout I get the error:

Sorry, we are not accepting payments from your region at this time.
Please contact us for alternate arrangements.

Why are none of the payment addons working with v1.3.9 and denim template?
