Attrbutes add a option leave unchecked

I have a product that currently has must choose attributes.

I have tried to add a optional add type attribute that would cost a additional amount.

I have it setup but I can not get the optional radio box to be unchecked.


I have the Default Attribute to be Marked Selected: No

Make sure that the Option Name is set as a Radiobutton and not as a Dropdown as the Dropdowns with 1 Option Value are automatically changed to Radiobuttons that are selected ...

And you sure when you EDIT the Attribute, you see the:

Default Attribute
to be Marked Selected: NO

Sorry ... my bad ... it is made that way on Radiobuttons also for Downloads and such ...

Could you change the Option Name to a Checkbox?

One more thing.

I know I can add this "bottom" checkbox to all products that have option name "style". That worked but it did not add the price or weight for the attribute. I know I can go in and edit the attribute thru the attribute controller but is there a way to set the attribute name with a price and weight?

Go to phpMyAdmin, and look at the table:
products_attributes

and see what the settings are for the:
options_id
options_values_id

I need to rephrase my question.

Is there a way to copy this attribute to a selected products complete with the added cost and weight. I added it using the Option Value page in the admin but it simply copied the name and check box and value not the price or weight. I then had to go to each product and edit the attributes and change the price to +10 and the weight.

If you were in the Attributes Controller, you could make a Product with the 1 Attribute and copy that 1 Attribute to a Product or Category of Products ...
