Add products but don't want them to display

Hi all,
We sell hardware for different products at a set price frequently. But I don't want the public to be able to go in and place the order themselves. Is there a way to add new products but don't want them to be shown to the public? And, I can bookmark the link and help the customers to place the order over the phone with a "hidden" link?

That fully defeats the purpose of having an online shop

If you want to take your orders over the telephone you can set the shop to one of the options

admin > config > my store > Store Status > look at #1 & #2
