This is probably not normally needed, but I'm building a store that will have one Top Category which has more then 70 Sub-Categories!
This is a unique setup, where for display purposes, each product has its own sub-category...
Anyway, I have the sub-category images set to 4-across, but with more then 70 (possibly 100 or more in the end), this makes a very long page!
Question:
How can I limit the number of sub-category images that are displayed at one time on a page?

Well, been looking for some "display-max" code, but not getting too far!
Anyone have any suggestions? Using ZC 1.3.9h with a custom template!

What exactly do you envision the "fix" should do? Just stop after displaying the first 10 categories? Or add all the complexities of pagination and corresponding navigation links? Or display just a "selected" group of categories? and how do you envision "choosing" *which* categories should be displayed vs not?
What's the business problem you're trying to solve with having a large number of categories so big that navigation is a problem ... vs presenting them another way?.
