How do I accept payments?

I have not used a credit card in a store in years, and online ever. I have only dealt with Paypal, checks and money orders.

1) I need a link to install options for these. I have only found settings in administration for credit cards.

2) If I was to want to accept credit card payments can this all be done through Paypal? Or how does a person accept a credit card payment. Remember, I have never used a credit card online or over a phone. This is another new world for me.

Admin - Modules - Payment to see the payment modules that are built in. It sounds like Paypal Express is what you want to start with. Your customers can use credit cards to pay through Paypal. You should establish a Paypal Business accoun.

The payment module for checks in Zen Cart is called "Check/Money Order" - just look for it under admin->modules->payment, click on it, press the install button on the right hand side, and set the check pay-to name.

But you might want to try paying by credit card for (say) an Amazon purchase just so you get more comfortable doing it. It's not that big a deal. And after all, this is what you're asking your customers to do.
