HELP, products title and info disappear when i go to edit

Hi there:

I dont know how to explain this. Everytime i enter in a new product in the admin and i go back to edit it, the product name and description disappears as if it was never there..

I have been using zencart for a few years now and have never run across this.. Is there a setting that i am missing or is it a bug??

Its a clean install with a template thrown on, i didnt change any main files...

I appreciate all thoughts in advance. Im sure its something that i have overlooked...

Nevermind All i found a thread that pointed to changing the version of PHP and its working right again......
