tax rates wont go away?

i was thinking about putting tax on my products but when i did it then got rid of the tax rates. in the Zone Definitions page i cant delete the UKZR: Mainland UK folder because it says (WARNING: Tax Rate(s) are defined for this zone. Please delete the Tax Rate(s) before removing this zone) even tho there is no tax rate added, it also is still adding tax to orders at the checkout even tho there is no tax rate or tax class added???? how can i get rid of the UKZR: Mainland UK folder and stop it adding tax? i have the parcel force and royal mail mod installed if this helps

hi yes ive deleted everything out of the tax rates and tax class, but the UKZR: Mainland UK Folder in Zone Definitions say (Number of Tax Rates: 6) but there cant be as i have deleted them all?

I got the same problem, i have 4 tax rates but none are showing. How can i delete them? from the database probably but how and what to delete.

Problem solved. Go to phpMyadmin, check "tax_rates" from your database select "Empty", click ok and there you have it, no more taxes.
