category_images

What could be causing some 'category_images' to display at a smaller size? Majority are fine. they are png, jpg, gif. I did try and switch a gif out for png with no success.

Without checking I believe that images are resized down but not resized up

yes that is one example. images are substabtially larger and are down-sized.
does it have anything to do with categories with subcategories?
will dig inside and see actual full sizes and compare and repost

Solved.
category images are now displaying correctly. I added subcategories to both categories that were not diplaying properly.
Previously it was though the category_image was picking up styling from another element in the document and displaying at a smaller size.
