Hidden frontEnd product

Hi;

i want to know if its possible hide a product once it have 0 stock units.

Admin => Stock=> Products status in Catalog when out of stock should be set to => set to 0

I have set to 0 but products with stock 0 are visible for user yet, how does it works?

The last item of a particular product has to be ordered and go through the checkout process before that product will be removed from the product listing. You can't just set the quantity to zero.

To get all of your Products caught up with this setting, you could run in the Tools ... Install SQL Patches:

UPDATE products SET products_status = 0 WHERE products_quantity <= 0;

from then on, as stevesh has explained, it will happen when Orders are completed on the checkout and when the quantity is less than or equal to 0 they will be marked as Out of Stock and not show in the Catalog until you change that setting ...
