html editor not working

We have a cart, version 1.3.9h. In admin we have the html editor selected but it is not working.

When I go to tools > ez-pages and click the link to create an ez-page the html editor is not loading.

Browsing with firefox, using inspect element, I look in the head tags section and find the script tag for htmlarea.js. It shows that htmlarea.js not loading.

This is the message:

Failed to load source for: http://website.com/editors/htmlarea/htmlarea.js

The problem I see with this is the path is not correct. It should actually read as

http://website.com/store/editors/htmlarea/htmlarea.js

View source shows

<script type="text/javascript" src="/editors/htmlarea/htmlarea.js"></script>

and clicking on the src link shows this

<h1>Not Found</h1>
<p>The requested URL /editors/htmlarea/htmlarea.js was not found on this server.</p>
<p>Additionally, a 404 Not Found
error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.</p>

Where do I correct the url so page load follows the correct path?

well I uploaded the editor folder to the root of the website which did get the html editor working but I'd still like to correct the url to use the editor in the subfolder where the store actually is. Any ideas?

I found it.

admin/includes/htmlarea.php

the html editor is working from the correct folder.

Have you thought about installing the latest CK Editor and dumping HTMLArea?

Hi every one
i recently upgrade my site from 1.3.9h to 1.5almost every thing is ok except html area was not there so I down load add on ckedit for new pages its works fine but previously made pages are not visible at all in admin its shown blank page i am able to create new one
from user end all old pages are visible
now i am stuck my most pages created in HTMLarea and now i can not edit them I already upgrade data base and all other functions are working fine.
any help?
then i tried another web site same result i can not see old product pages in admin so can not edit but can see very well at user side it is live web www.fragranceorperfume.com .
i searched FAQ but could not see any error like this.
I install one click and then upload and zc_install another website www.xprinterparts.com both have same result
I am running zen cart from quite long time so very much sure it is from HTML editor.
I found html area was one of the best feature of zen cart don't understand why its discontinue believe me it was very easy and convenient. i will prefer if can get list of files that require for html area i know editor directory but what Else files do i need please help.

What version of PHP on your site?

And maybe you should put your site back to iso-8859-1 instead of forcing it over to utf-8.

Hi

i just went to /*shopname*/editors/htmlarea/lang

the language i needed, namely Thai was not in it by default.

So i downloaded en.js changed it to th.js and uploaded it in the same place.

Works fine now in EZ Pages and in Pages Editor
