can't login in admin

I see many post and I always solved using reset password via sql like in wiki.
But this time no

I moved zencart from a directory to another directory and then I move new directory in old, so....
I see correctly store, and I see also a warning message, missing folder sessions, so I read on this forum and I see that I have to modify on admin panel.

But I can't login.
I used a different admin name, for example giuly and password, I try to:
-via phpmyadmin modify password
- execute sql via phpmyadmin to reset to Admin and admin like password but doesn't work

If I try to send via email new password doesn't work.

Please How have I to do?

I do this to update also my version of zencart, last version.

Make sure all is correct in the configure.php file...

your_secret_admin/ includes/ configure.php

I yet controlled, but it is right configured.

Before I import only some tables, like clients and no products for example, I now try to import all in new database. I hope to solve...

I partialli solved deleting tables of new database and importing old tables database, so now I can do login, now I have last issue, system says that I have to patch database that it is old, how can I do?

Run the http://www.your_domain_name.com/your_new_site/zc_install
Choose the Upgrade Database option

You may want to try Run the http://www.your_domain_name.com/zc_install instead. The zc_install won't play well from a sub-directory of the site.
If it is not there, install it from a clean version that is the same as the version you have in the new site.
Be sure to remove the directory after the database upgrade.

I feel stupid I had to upgrade from 1.3.8 to 1.3.9. so it is ok
instead I tried with old version for example 1.0.1. to 1.0.2 because they were checked from default.
