User Area

I'm trying to build a trading post kind of site so I need a user area that shows user points instead of $ and items that the user has uploaded and their available points for each item. Is there any way to do this?

Sure - with a lot of custom coding - so much, I'd guess, that it would be easier to build something from scratch.

Zencart isn't intended to be a 'mall' sort of program, where visitors can upload their own products.

Thanks Steve was kinda getting that idea.
Just the catalogue is so good for products display but not very "multiple user" oriented as you say.
Maybe I should use Drupal which I'm pretty familiar with.
