Depends what your selling. A DRM system for films would be different to a DRM system for music.
Best DRM system for PDF eBooks is to stamp the books with purchaser's postal code, full name, and email address. This can be done expensively through systems like SetaPdf-Stamper, or on an eBook by eBook basis through systems like DocMonk (about $0.50 per eBook)

Adobe Content Server 4 is the latest version available for creating ePub and DRM materials.
It's a geek thing. If I had to explain it, you wouldn't understand.
