New customer can not sign up -blank page

I have the v1.3.9h installed. When I tested it, I found that when new customer submit the form, the page is redirected to create_account page which is blank. The correct page should be create_account_success.
Any suggestion to fix the problem?

There is another one:

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in ..............includes\languages\english\create_account.php on line 42


That should be the last line of create_account file.

I fixed the problem by uploading the create_account file.
