    bug Issue with registration new user - field gender and dob not saving to database.

    Hello,

    I use version 1.3.9h
    So far everything looks like the store operates in order, with one exception - for some reason some customers during registration process do not saved customers_gender and customers_dob even if this two fields are mandatory.
    When I am trying to register as a new customer and do not give dob and/or gendar registration fails.

    On the 255 registered customers only 85 have saved gender and dob. This two fields are mandatory.

    What could be the reason of that?

    Are you using PayPal Express Checkout?

    yes, I noted this happens only with customers who pay through paypal before signing up in store. I think it happen because on paypal checkout form is no gendar and dob fields??

    That's correct. PayPal doesn't collect or supply that information.
    If you want to force your customers to supply that information, you'll need to disable the "Express Checkout Shortcut Button" in your EC module settings in your store admin.
