Admin UGI vs IH3

Hello, i was reading through the Image Handler 3 configuration read me file.
I noticed they had a picture of there categories/ products in catalogue drop down menu.

There who interface is different to mine. I am using zen cart 1.3.9

One of the differences in there graphic user interface was the action area

under action for each product the image handler picture had 8 icons

In my action area i have only four icons.
That was the main difference, As a whole the IH3 pic was a different layout to mine.


I was wandering if anyone know if i can update my admin?
This i think may be the reason my site will not display additional images?

If your site is not displaying additional Images now, adding image handler won't help, image handler (in regards to additional images) only allows an easy way of uploading additional image, it doesn't replace zencarts additional image functionality. so if additional images aren't working now, Image handler won't fix ir

The reason the bits screenshots look different is because you don't have image handler installed, and there are various other mods installed on the ih3 screenshot none of which effect additional images.

If additional Images aren't working you have either
1) named them incorrectly
2) not turned them on in admin correctly
3) Using a template that doesn't support them
4) or edited a file badly

And compare apples with apples

your image shows a category listing of categories!!!
the image handler one shows a category listing of Images


the image handler icon will only appear on a category listing of Images because it works with images.

So Imagehandler is probably installed, you just need to read the instructions carefully.

Would you know why my zen cart will not display additional images for me, i read somewhere the template can prevent additional images from displaying?
I have read plenty of forums and articles explaing how to add additional images via the naming method.
to, this method is not working for me.

Nope because Im not Psychic

If you are having issues you need to

1) Provide a link to your site, preferably a page that is effected by the issue
2) A link to the image, before image handler has acted on it so we can check the naming is correct
3) A link to the additional images, so we can see for ourselves you are using the correct naming conventions

We can't guess, just from descriptions, there are literally dozens of reason why additional images wont show
