change color of navbars on classic template

Exactly where do I go, on what file, to change the color of the navbars, or headers, (whatever they are called) that are currently green?

These navbars, for example --
Home Log In
Categories
Shopping Cart [more]

Look in your stylesheet.css file. You will see references to tile_back.gif .

You can either create your own background image, or remove it by changing the CSS declaration.

The image lives in the IMAGES folder of your active TEMPLATE... not in the main images folder.
