    Default Arrgh Please Help Hair Pulling in Process - Text Colour Change

    I've stupidly uploaded the mod Product Info Display Centered - as a newbie to all this it wasn't a good idea to use a mod I cannot turn on and off!!

    And now have the following issues that I have spent hours trying to resolve but I'm just not getting it - sorry to rely on you guys

    Issues as follows:

    This mod has changed my product description text to black (on black) and I cannot find how I change all product description text to a better color - white for example.

    It hasn't centered the add to cart button

    And the real pain is that what I wanted to do was actually centre my product columns not the descriptions - lol - so any help on how to do that would be great

    You can view the issue here: http://www.gamesknight.org.uk/store/...products_id=84
    Thanks so much

    That template has several stylesheet(css) files
    You should be looking for below in one of those,
    and change font colour to white or #FFFFFF
    Code:
    <!--<div id="productDescriptionBox">-->
    <!--bof Product description -->
    <divid="productDescription"class="productGeneral">

    The text color is straightforward. Just find your product_info.css file and in there the styling for your #productbox. Remove the line for color and it will turn white.

    Centering the add to cart block can be done, you would need to track down the floats forcing it to the right. there are at least two levels of them, e.g. the one in the same file for #buybox.

    Don't understand what you mean about centering your product columns.

    Really useful - thank you - now just the columns - see here:

    http://www.gamesknight.org.uk/store/...=index&cPath=1

    I would like the images and text to be centered in each column - if that makes better sense - but I'm not clear where to got to make the adjustment

    Once again thank you

    Your product listing DIV encases this as well

    div .centerBoxContentsProducts centeredContent back

    and it's in acquiring the back property that sets a FLOAT LEFT.

    You are going to have to edit the php file to remove back from the relevant DIV.

    A BIG challenge is that you've decided to use a TemplateMonster template. These depart SIGNIFICANTLY from standard Zencart, so help and advice on this forum is rare. Most helpers here do NOT use "bought" templates, and trying to "unpick" them can take many long hours. We just don't have time for that (we need to spend at least some of our time earning a living )

    I feel that if you don't have sufficient knowledge of PHP and the overall structure of zencart, you will have no choice but to hire someone to put certain changes in place - and again, you will need someone who is not only up-to-speed with zencart code, but also knows (or is prepared to learn) more about the template you are using.

    I'm sorry to come across in what may seem a negative way, but having been a regular advisor on this forum for over 6 years now, I have seen huge numbers of enthusiastic novices plead for help with these commercial templates, and in most cases having their questions unanswered. These templates are just too radically different for us to offer quick help and advice, which is only possible really when zencart's CORE code and functionality have not been so radically altered.

    Ironically, it is often possible to achieve similar designs that these commercial templates achieve, using cloned copies of the zencart classic templates and sensible bolt-ons of some of the free add-on modules.

    Don't apologise - I think its a fair observation

    The template does pretty much all I want it to do but I like to learn as much as possible about the how!!??

    If I cannot center my images its no big deal - the company I purchased the template from have been great but I wanted to try and do as much on my own and understand my site rather than be a passive bystander

    Thanks again I do appreciate the time
