    Default Color Questions- EZ Slider

    I'm sure this is an easy one I'm just not experienced enough in css/html/php to figure this out. Just below the header logo i put in easy slider. I'm trying to figure out how to isolate the area around the slider so I can change the background to black.

    Thank you in advance.

    Add this to the bottom of your stylesheet.css

    Code:
    #headerWrapper{background-color:#000;}
    Thanks,

    one more slightly related question. above the slider there seems to be quite a bit of space between the logo and the slider. From what i can tell this is where the tagline goes. I haven't been able to shrink this gap and I'm hoping someone can advise on how I might do this. Thanks!

    Remove the tagline. At the moment you're displaying it as black text on a black background, which is why it's taking up space.

    Google sees this and may interpret it as an attempt to feed it hidden information not visible to normal visitors. If it does it will not display your site in its search results.

    There's a FAQ entry here on changing it. Sound like you want to change it to an empty string.

    i removed the tagline text and turned the tagline div back to ffffff. Now i have a white line. How do i go about removing this area altogether? should i change it to white text on a black background and remove the tagline from the header.php? if i do this it seems to still keep the div and take up the space.

    Thanks!
