Can't Create Products!!! Hosted on Network Solutions

I am using version 1.3.9h
I am using a new install
I can create categories, free shipping products, music products and all the rest but when i try and create a new products_General i can fill in the info and hit preview and it takes ages and then comes up can't display the page!

What do i need to do?

Any ideas would be appreciated

Kobra means... where is your site being hosted, and what server platform is it being hosted on.

Generally, hosts provide either WINDOWS servers or LINUX servers (or both).

What server is your site on, and what VERSIONS of server software are installed.

(Just ask your host for this info if you don't know where to find it.)

Networksolutions is hosting it!
Server OS: Linux vux109 2.6.37.6-NETSOL #1 SMP Wed May 25 20:14:32 EDT 2011 i686
Database: MySQL 5.0.89
Server: Apache/2.2.17 (Unix) FrontPage/5.0.2.2635
PHP Version: 5.2.17 (Zend: 2.2.0)

The server looks OK.

It could be faulty PHP files in your admin installation.

I have tried a complete new install and it still is bad!!

When it times out the address its trying to get to is mystoreaddress/product.php?cPath=5_6&product_type=1&action=new_product_preview

You might find some clues if you search here for network solutions

They have some quirks in the way they setup their servers

Network Solutions and GoDaddy compete aggressively with each other for the Annual "Worst Host in the Universe" awards.

These companies are almost ok for domain registering only... but NOTHING else.
