Slider Images

I am having a problem setting the order of the images that show in my slider. I can't tell what determines the order of the slider other than when the image was added.

When we do new promotions, we want to put up a slider that talks about a promotion or sale. Unfortunately, despite all the things I do with Banner Manager, the slider ends of near the end of the slider deck. The latest one I created is not the last one but it is 2nd to last.

I have changed the sort order. I've changed the file name to be at the beginning of the alphabet. I've even manipulated the date the record was added. All these things I've done trying to move up the image so that it displays first. No luck.

We are still using v.1.3.8 so I don't know if a later version resolves this problem

As Zen Cart doesn't have a slider by default, you'd need to check the options available for the specific slider that you're using (there are several dozen possibilities, each with it's own unique set of options).

And no, upgrading to Zen Cart 1.3.9 is very unlikely to make any difference to this specific issue, but you should do it anyway.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I have no idea what slider we are using. Our website "designer" is MIA and refuses to acknowledge us. Is there a way to figure it out?
